Indiana Public Media (IPM) reports on IU researchers who have developed software for Crane US Naval Surface Warfare Center that is capable of remotely recording from a smartphone, effectively spying without the user’s knowledge.
It takes pictures from the phone and sends the photos to a central server where they are stitched together to form a three-dimensional image.
